About Us

    The Dunn PTA is a vital, integral part of making Dunn Elementary School an outstanding place for students to learn, grow and develop. We work with teachers, staff and a very involved community of parents to provide essential learning tools necessary for success in the classroom and for each individual child.  The PTA hopes that when each child comes to school they have an equal opportunity to be successful learners.

           The Dunn PTA coordinates several events during the year and allows parents to volunteer during the school day by working in the library or lunchroom; providing tours for prospective parents; or organizing events such as Picture Day, Yearbook or Teacher Appreciation Week.

​

Parents can also serve on committees such as Turkey Trot, Field Day, and our major fundraiser, FUNdfest.  These are just a few of the many ways that you can be an active part of your child's educational experience at Dunn.
